Getting the Most from Professional Development
The professional development opportunities listed below are offered by APPA and are available to both members and non-members. However, APPA Institutional Members receive discounted registration rates for many courses, institutes, webinars, conferences, and credential programs. An APPA Institutional Membership also includes membership in your regional APPA association, SRAPPA (Southeastern Regional APPA), providing additional networking, educational, and leadership opportunities throughout the year.
In addition to APPA member discounts, some professional development programs, such as the Supervisor’s Toolkit, are offered at reduced registration rates for SRAPPA members, providing even greater value for institutions that participate at both the international and regional levels.
Many of APPA’s in-person professional development courses can also be hosted at your institution, making training more convenient and cost-effective for your staff. If your institution is interested in hosting an APPA course, TNAPPA can help connect you with APPA to explore available opportunities and begin the planning process.
